WHO ?
Nadia, 19, joined jammerz arena as a specialist in the field of photography. Being the pioneer batch of photography and video team members known also as “Media Crew”, they have no doubt came a long way to being what they are today. With the initiation and leadership of our ex- Media Manager “Hue Jun Yang”, the media crew saw light at the end of the tunnel. With her exceptional skills in photography and knowledge and media related works. She was recognized and appointed the position of Asst Media Manager, two months into her membership with JA. As they worked hand in hand to establish a systematic system and working group that can function and benefit both JA and themselves. They’ve managed to create a pool of talented individuals whom functioned very well in the media team and also as a JA member. With the recent release back in 2010 August of our Ex- Media Manager “Jun Yang”. Nadia was next in line for the leadership role as she had no doubt proven herself to posses both vision and perseverance in whatever she does. With a lovable character and an amazing portfolio like any other professional media talents out there, she was nominated to the position of Media Manager back in 2010. A student taking a diploma in “New Media”, she would agree that Jammerz Arena has no doubt paved many new opportunities and possibilities for her future. She is currently also a Studio IG member as well.
What fruit would you use to describe yourself?
I would probably be a dragon fruit. You know how nobody really knows if a dragon fruit’s inside is red or white? Yeah, like the dragon fruit, I’m kind of normal on the outside but my insides are unpredictable. Sounds gross with that analogy but you get what I mean.
When did you start taking your first picture? Can we have a look at it?
I picked up photography while in secondary school with a digital camera. I don't know what the first photo was but I know I had a favourite, which I took while on holiday. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/voodooindie/2827545808/in/photostream)
How has Jammerz Arena helped you in achieving your goals or even life lessons?
Besides helping me discover my own "style" in live photography, I was exposed to how musicians are on stage and off stage which is a huge eye opener for me. People think being a musician is easy and everything's about glitz and glamour but it's not. It's more than that and without passion, discipline and commitment, you won’t go anywhere.
What was 2010 like for Jammerz Arena?
It was a VERY interesting year. I think there’s a big difference in the bands between Jam & Hop and Quintessential which is a good thing because they’re more dynamic now. I’ve gotten a better with my photographs and I ended a year with the greatest people whom I'm very grateful to have in the media crew.
Tell us your deepest darkest secret that people do not know about?
