Nurul Asyikin aka “Kin” 20 joined Jammerz Arena as a “Media Crew” specializing in Photography. Taking a diploma in “New Media” and having been an ex- Beats Encore Percussionist. She is no newbie to the music scene. Having shifted her focus from music to photography and graphic designs, she has produced and made a mark for herself with her amazing portfolios of posters and photos. Having showed amazing skills and leadership qualities, she has been nominated into the Exco Leaders Team that would soon be taking over the Senior Exco’s.

I would be a strawberry. I might seem nice on the outside but if you pick the wrong side of me, i can be sour. Otherwise, I’m pretty sweet! Hehe

Have Jammerz Arena always been your choice? Or?

Well, I was from Beats Encore on my first year on RP. When the Media Crew started the following year, I finally found my true calling. Performing is fun but I guess I found a greater satisfaction while doing Media work and marketing JA’s events and shows.

Tell us more about your role in Jammerz Arena?

My role in JA is mainly taking photos of gigs but I have since then expanded to designing posters. Other than just doing solo work, the media crew often have to work together especially in directing how the shooting of photos and videos will be like.

How have you contributed to the success of Jammerz Arena?

I can’t think of anything I did that made a big difference for JA but it’s a great feeling when people appreciate the things you do especially taking photographs of your good friends doing their best on stage!

Tell us your deepest darkest secret that people do not know about?

Nothing is a secret unless you have the right questions. You will definitely get the answers. J
